Mazhar has long term third sector experience with a specialist insight on Muslim communities across the UK.
His professional and voluntary roles have included supporting charities, community groups and media organisations in strategically developing their capacity and projects, as well as fundraising and volunteer development.
Mazhar has also held Executive Board positions on a number of major national Muslim community representative bodies, which have included providing mainstream media and political engagement, alongside policy development.
